Before each mountain day
- Read the official road restriction updates.
- Check the forecast at road altitude, not only in the departure city.
- Travel in daylight with a charged phone, warm layers, water, and offline navigation.
- Do not enter a route during bad weather, a closure, or damaged-road conditions.
- Call 112 in an emergency and tell Geolander the incident location immediately.
